All four Roper St. Francis Healthcare hospitals are being recognized for safety excellence by the S.C. Hospital Association’s Zero Harm program.

The Morrison Healthcare pumpkin-decorating contest prompted some pretty spectacular designs.
The gourd-adorning competition at all four Roper St. Francis Healthcare hospitals required a sock donation to enter, and the winning departments get a free catered lunch from Morrison. Here are the results:

Roper Hospital a top facility for critical care
Roper Hospital was recently named among the top facilities for critical care, according to Healthgrades.
Healthgrades evaluated hospitals for superior clinical outcomes in treating pulmonary embolism, respiratory system failure, sepsis and diabetic emergencies.
As a result of that evaluation, Roper Hospital was named by Healthgrades as America’s 100 Best Hospitals for Critical Care Award (2024).
That put the facility among the Top 5 percent of hospitals for critical in the country – a remarkable achievement.
