RSFH lives up to its promise of hiring more nurses to serve patients

Roper St. Francis Healthcare continues to recruit and hire nurses to serve patients during this third wave of the pandemic. The following is brief update on the number of nurses hired.
- A month ago around the start of this surge, RSFH set out to hire 88 rapid hires, including 34 at RSF Mount Pleasant Hospital, 34 at Roper Hospital, 14 at Bon Secours St. Francis Hospital and six at RSF Berkeley Hospital. So far, we have filled 92 percent of those positions for a total of 81.
- RSFH has hired a total of 166 nurses and respiratory therapists since Aug. 23.
- Today, 23 nurses and respiratory therapists start work. Additional will arrive by Thursday.
