Jennifer Polon and Franklin Robinson recognized with Excellence in Action Awards

Jennifer Polon, a Registered Nurse at Roper Hospital, recently was recognized with an Excellence in Action awards, which recognizes teammates for going above and beyond on the job.

Jennifer Polon was nominated by Becky White who wrote, “Let me start by saying, I could literally write a book on how valuable Jennifer is/has been to Roper Nursing and those entrusted to her care. Jennifer is continuously seen going “above and beyond” and she demonstrates immense patience and understanding with our geriatric patients. Jennifer remains professional and poised when dealing with the most challenging patients and families. She always demonstrates genuine caring and relatability to all patients. She serves on the PUP committee and comes in on her days off to perform prevalence study audits. Jennifer is PCCN certified and has maintained this nationally recognized certification for 15 years! She recently was recognized by a group of students for the valuable teaching and patience that she afforded to them. She readily accepts students and new hires. Even on the busiest of days, she continues to smile and lift others with her positive outlook. We’re so fortunate to have Jennifer!”

Franklin Robinson, an Environmental Services Associate at Roper Hospital, was also recognized with an Excellence in Action award. Becky White also nominated Franklin. She wrote, “The entire 4HVT staff would like to recognize Franklin for always going above and beyond when performing his job duties. Not only does Franklin go the extra mile but he always has a smile on his face and a positive attitude. He is a hard worker who pays attention to detail and addresses even the “small things” that go unnoticed or addressed by many. We appreciate Franklin and all that he does for us, our patients, 4HVT and Roper Hospital.”
