Infusion RN, Task RN, runners needed

We are looking for Infusion RNs, Task RNs and runners who would be willing to work at our Roper Hospital monoclonal antibody infusion site.

Infusion RNs

Infusion RNs should be comfortable starting IVs, caring for COVID-19 positive patients, and providing patient care at a quick pace with a quick turnaround. Because of the amount of training needed, infusion RNs also should be able to work more than one shift. RNs also should be: licensed, Cerner/FirstNet Trained, fit tested, and have BLS (ACLS also preferred).  If you are interested in this role, please get your manager’s prior approval.

Runners

Runners main objective is to help the unit run more efficiently.

  • Escorting patients for arrival and discharge.
  • Stocking/retrieving supplies.
  • Assisting patients to restroom.
  • Spacelabs hook up/unhook.
  • General tech duties as needed.

Task RNs

Task RNs essentially assist the unit RNs in direct patient care.

  • Escorting patients for arrival and discharge.
  • Stocking/retrieving supplies.
  • Assisting patients to restroom.
  • Spacelabs hook up/unhook.
  • General tech duties as needed.
  • Assist with placing and removing IVs
  • Adding secondary flush to Alaris pump
  • Removing tubing from Alaris pump
  • General nursing duties as needed

Task RNs also should have an active certification/license, be fit tested and be CPR certified.
