Community donates to Vaccination Drive-Thru

Thank you to Big Daddy’s Pork Rinds for stopping by and donating pork rinds to everyone working at the vaccine clinic!

Mike Glass is the general manager for the DoubleTree in Mount Pleasant. They generously donated lunch catered by Hamby’s and the signature DoubleTree warm cookies to the teammates working the North Charleston  Vaccination Drive-Thru on March 25.

Thank you to Tuesday’s meal donors at the Charleston Coliseum. Raising Cane’s provided 30 meals and Michael Lepson and Susan Arrington (not pictured) of Carolina One Real Estate, Charleston Central Office provided 30 meals.

Do Good Be Good Never Quit Inc. donated Bombas socks to teammates working at the vaccine clinic. Founded by Kara Majewski, Do Good Be Good Never Quit Inc. is a nonprofit created in honor of her son who tragically passed away five years ago. The organization gives back to the homeless as well as frontline workers.

Flowers were provided to teammates working at the Vaccination Drive-Thru by the Roper St. Francis Foundation. Justin Wham Flowers and Events produced the arrangements.

FLAG founder Lisa Geoffroy and Windy Plank from State Farm Insurance donated lunch on Wednesday.

Beezer Molten, owner of Half-Moon Outfitters, donated $12,775 in running shoes and socks for our teammates working at the Vaccination Drive-Thru at the North Charleston Coliseum.

This is the second time they have made a donation such as this. In May 2020, they donated shoes to frontline teammates valued at $5,200, for a total of nearly $18,000 in gear for frontline teammates.

We appreciate their generosity and support!

Special thanks to Stephen Khouri, DC of Khouri Chiropractic for coming to the COVID-19 Vaccination Drive-Thru to give adjustments to the staff who were working.

The Roper St. Francis Foundation received a generous donation from Southern Eagle Distributing of water, juice and other drinks for our teammates working at the COVID-19 Vaccination Drive-Thru at the North Charleston Coliseum. They have committed to delivering drinks once a week for the next several weeks, and we are incredibly grateful for their generosity.

“We are more than happy to help out,” said Tom Fitzgerald, vice president of marketing. “Thank you for all you are doing to us help stay safe!”
