You can be a winner like Carter by participating in our Trident United Way campaign

Congratulations to Carter Crawford, one of our administrative residents, who won an Amazon Echo Dot for participating in our Trident United Way campaign.

Any teammate who participates in our Trident United Way campaign by the end of Tuesday, Sept. 12 will be entered to win an Amazon Echo Dot, which is a hands-free speaker you control with your voice that connects to the Alexa system.

You can participate by going to CareLine and logging into “Employee Portal.” You’ll see a link on the left-hand side of the page that says “Trident United Way Pledge Form.” Click on that to fill out your pledge form.

Our goal this year is 100 percent participation among teammates. Completing a pledge form, regardless of your response, counts as participation. Project Manager Andy Trolley and Community Services Coordinator Tara Tsehlana are co-chairs of this year’s campaign. If you are interested in a Trident United Way representative speaking to your team, let Andy or Tara know.

The Trident United Way invests in programs that measurably improve people’s lives and have the greatest impact in our community. The Trident United Way can’t solve all our community’s problems, so it focuses on education, financial stability and health. Nearly 200 volunteers evaluate programs every year and decide which ones are the most effective and deserve Trident United Way’s support.

Every penny of your donation to Trident United Way stays local and helps people here in the Lowcountry. None of it goes for administration and fundraising. Guaranteed.

How is that possible? Seven local corporations and the United Way endowment believe so strongly that collective impact is the best way to solve complex problems in our community that they cover all of Trident United Way’s administrative and fundraising costs. That means each dollar goes directly into our tri-county community.
